Liverpool 1-2 Tottenham review

Unlucky~~~

uhuhuhu... Thats the word for last night match... should done better in defence, as Skrtel looks not fit at all. Hope next macth he will be back in actual form.

The dying minutes of Aaron Lennon goal is really heart throbbing, but nonetheless, lets look forward for next match against Aston Villa.... uhuhuhu..

Liverpool

Pepe Reina - 6.5
Was not really tested, thanks to his defenders. Would have saved the penalty anyway if it was on target. The only time he had to make a real save, Lennon calmly passed the ball into the net.

Martin Skrtel - 7
Defender's instinct to react first in the penalty area resulted in a Liverpool goal. Unluckily for him, it was also that instinct that led to the own goal.

Jamie Carragher (Off 87') - 7
Opened his body to block a certain goal. A no nonsense defender who will be missed dearly after picking up a shoulder injury.

Paul Konchesky - 5.5
In the beginning, everyone must have thought he's going to have a torrid time against Lennon. Well, this was not the case till injury time when he shouldn't allowed Lennon clear on goal.

Glen Johnson - 6
Did well to restrict Bale as much as possible. Took turns with Kuyt to whip in balls into the box from the right.

Lucas - 5.5
Liverpool is undefeated this season playing away and scoring first, but Lucas' inability to control the midfield meant that Harry Redknapp's comeback kids got all three points.

Raul Meireles - 8
Distributed the ball very well throughout the game and pulled off a second goal line clearance after his skipper. Slowly but surely settling into the Premier League.

Maxi Rodríguez - 6
Always looked threatening coming in from the left but should learn to keep his play simple instead of taking too many touches.

Dirk Kuyt - 6.5
Nothing too fancy from him and crosses into the area from wide right were sheer quality, but could not do much more as he was tamed by Assou-Ekotto.

David Ngog (Off 73') - 5.5
Struggled to be on the same wavelength as Torres and Liverpool played like they had two lone strikers.

Fernando Torres - 6
How can the almighty El Nino did not score in two virtually one on one situations remains a mystery. His confidence must be suffering right now.

Substitutions

Fabio Aurelio (On 73') - 6
Came on but chased shadows as Liverpool slumped to defeat.

Sotirios Kyrgiakos (On 87')
N/A
